Jane Pauley Signals Success for Philanthropic Women of St. Joseph’s
“Success is defined as stretching for something just out of your comfort zone,” award-winning journalist Jane Pauley told donors and guests at the Philanthropic Women of St. Joseph's luncheon Feb. 2, 2012. The event was held at the Tampa Yacht and Country Club and Pauley, whose broadcast journalism career spans more than 30 years, delivered the keynote address.
Her inspirational message of reinvention stressed taking the time to view oneself in a powerful new way. Having undergone her own reinventions throughout her work and life, Pauley said, "I've been thinking about this subject for 20 years." In her new "Your Life Calling" segment on the Today show, shines a spotlight on people who, both by choice and by necessity, are reinventing their future and finding success by following their dreams and finding meaning in the next chapter of their lives.
Pauley charmed, entertained and inspired a sold-out crowd with her down-to-earth and straight forward approach to life, family, health and career. Following lunch, event emcee and WFLA News anchor Gayle Sierens moderated a question and answer session. Afterwards, Pauley stood and gave the Philanthropic Women’s membership a standing ovation for their work in the Tampa Bay community. Click here to view photo gallery.
