Tuan Pham, MD, PhD, FACS, FAAP
Dr. Tuan H. Pham holds bachelor degrees, magna cum laude, in biology and electrical and computer engineering from the University of California at Irvine (UCI), where he also earned his Doctor of Medicine with honors. At the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, he completed a general surgery residency, and went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric general surgery at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, Canada. Dr. Pham holds a doctorate degree from UCI in electrical and computer engineering. Research for his dissertation was performed through the NIH Medical Scientist Program. Other research awards and fellowships included the Fulbright Fellowship to Lund Sweden and the Whitaker Biomedical Graduate Fellowship. Dr. Pham is board certified in pediatric surgery and general surgery, specializes in neonatal surgery and pediatric oncology, and has extensive experience in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and American Academy of Pediatrics, and is a member of the American Pediatric Surgeons Association, SAGES, Optical Society of America and Engineering in Medicine and Biology. To lift the spirits of his tiny patients and their worried siblings, he used another skill he’s acquired over the years: making balloon animals and hats. Dr. Pham is conversant in Vietnamese.
Luis Martinez, MD, FACS, FAAP
Dr. Luis Martinez received his undergraduate degree from Colegio San Jose in Asuncion, Paraguay, and earned his Doctor in Medicine and Surgery from Universidad Nacional De Asuncion. He also earned a Masters in Healthcare Systems from the University of Denver in Colorado. Dr. Martinez completed a rotating internship and junior surgery residency at the Hospital de Clinicas through the University of Asuncion, and a rotating internship at The Danbury Hospital in Danbury, Connecticut. He served a general surgery residency at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center-University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Hartford, a thoracic-cardiovascular surgery fellowship at Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia and a pediatric surgery fellowship at The Children’s Hospital of Denver in Colorado. Dr. Martinez is board certified in surgery and pediatric surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association, Pacific Association of Pediatric Surgeons, Pan-American Association of Pediatric Surgeons, Tampa Bay Surgical Society and the Tampa Bay Latin American Medical Society. Dr. Martinez is fluent in Spanish.
Enqrique Grisoni, MD, FACS, FAAP
Dr. Enrique Grisoni earned his Doctor of Medicine from Catholic University, Cordoba, Argentina, and completed a general surgery residency at Medical College of Ohio in Toledo. He completed a fellowship in pediatric surgery at the Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, Canada. Dr. Grisoni served as Professor of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, Professor of Pediatric Surgery at Northeastern Ohio University College of Medicine, and Clinical Professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Grisoni is board certified in pediatric surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Pediatric Surgical Association. He is fluent in Spanish and Italian.
