Leslie Holley, MS, CCLS
Leslie graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development, with an emphasis in Child Life, and earned a Master of Science degree in Child Development, with an emphasis in Child Life, from Illinois State University. Prior to obtaining her Master's degree, she was the Pre-School/School-Age Coordinator at Comer Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago.
Leslie completed internships at Advocate Lutheran General Children's Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois, and at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. She began her career at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in October 2006 as a Certified Child Life Specialist in the general pediatric unit. Leslie is currently a Certified Child Life Specialist in the Hematology/Oncology Unit and Clinic located in the Cancer Center at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital.
Leslie is responsible for facilitating donation of toys and other items to the Children's Hospital and works with community organizations such as Make-A-Wish and Children's Dream Fund, as well as with The Children's Cancer Center. She has been a member of The Child Life Council since 2002 and a member of the Florida Association of Child Life Professionals (FACLP) since 2005.
