In an effort to reach out to eastern Hillsborough County families, this in-patient children’s unit in Plant City is designed to meet the unique needs of children and their families. St. Joseph’s Children’s at South Florida Baptist Hospital is staffed by pediatric hospitalists, pediatric nurses and nurse practitioners, as well as support staff including a certified Child Life Specialist. Patients, staff and physicians have direct links to the comprehensive staff and services at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa.
