Frank J. Sierra, DMD
A native of Tampa, Dr. Sierra graduated from The University of South Florida (USF) with a BS in Natural Sciences. He continued studies at USF and received a MS in Public Health before attending dental school at The University of Florida. Following dental school, he completed residency training in pediatric dentistry at Shands Hospital at UF. He is board certified in pediatric dentistry and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Sierra is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association. He has served as President of Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Florida Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association. He is an author and has made national presentations in the dental care of the child with facial differences. He has been involved in family-centered team care for over 15 years.
Dr. Sierra is in private practice in Tampa and is on clinical faculty at The University of South Florida College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics.
