Arthur Marlin, MD
Dr. Marlin was in practice for 28 years in San Antonio, Texas, before coming to our practice in Tampa. He is a professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at The University of South Florida. He has served as CEO of Methodist Children's Hospital of South Texas from 1998-2003.
After receiving his medical degree from McGill University, Dr. Marlin completed a surgical internship at the University of Minnesota Hospitals, followed by surgical residency at New York University Medical Center.
Dr. Marlin is a past chairman of the pediatric section of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and chaired several committees of the American Society for Pediatric Neurosurgery. He was included in the 2004-2005 Consumer's Research Council of America's Guide to America's Top Physicians. Dr. Marlin has written and edited several books, including the annual Concepts in Pediatric Neurosurgery (Karger) and, most recently, Pediatric Neurosurgery: Surgery of the Developing Nervous System, 4th Edition.
