Venous Disease: Conditions We Treat

We treat venous conditions such as:

  • Venous insufficiency. When a problem with your veins lasts for a long time, it can become chronic venous insufficiency. You may see skin changes and leg ulcerations can appear.
  • Spider veins. These are the smallest type of varicose veins, appearing as clusters of small veins. These tend not to cause any problems and are a cosmetic concern more than anything else. Occasionally, they may be painful.
  • Varicose veins. These are larger than spider veins. They are blue and may bulge out from your skin. Most commonly, they appear in your legs and feet. Often varicose veins do not cause any problems, but sometimes the vein becomes leaky, causing swelling and aching.

We take the time to understand your symptoms and your reasons for seeking treatment. Together with you, we come up with a treatment plan that fits your needs and lifestyle.
