St. Joseph's Hospital Stroke Support Group:
Serving Survivors and Caregivers
Please know you are not alone in your journey toward recovery. Our group offers a way for you to meet with others experiencing similar challenges. Together, you will learn ways to support each other and gain a better understanding of stroke recovery.
Our group's goals offer you and our community hope for good health and well-being:
- Support stroke survivors and caregivers as they strive to rebuild their lives, health and independence.
- Provide a better understanding of recovery, rehabilitation and prevention of recurrent stroke.
- Meet others for positive, mutual support.
- Educate the local community about stroke prevention and disabilities.
The St. Joseph’s Hospital Stroke Support Group meets quarterly in January, March, June and October. Meetings are held on the third Wednesday of these months from 1-3pm.
Our meeting are held in the St. Joseph’s Hospital Medical Arts Building, and light refreshments are served:
