Non-Invasive Treatment for Varicose Veins
It's estimated that by the age of 50, approximately 50% of American women and 10% of men suffer from some form of venous disorder, disproving the assumption that Varicose Veins is only a "woman's disease".
The Vein Center, located on the main campus of St. Josephs Hospital, is proud to offer the latest, non-invasive vascular treatment options for those who suffer from venous insufficiency, varicose veins, as well as spider veins.
All treatments are done in a relaxed office setting and usually completed in under an hour, requiring only local anesthesia. Patients are up and walking immediately after the procedure and many patients are able to return to work and full activities the next day. Walking is the best thing you can do for your veins.
Our treatment options include:
- Endovenous Laser Treatment (EVLT)
- Radio Frequency Ablation (RFA, previously known as VNUS)
- Micro Ambulatory Phlebectomy
- Ultrasound Guided Chemical Ablation
- Sclerotherapy For many patients, no physician referral is required.
Ask your doctor or health care provider if vein treatment is right for you. Call us directly with any questions, or to schedule a consultation. For many patients, no physician referral is required.
