For 75 years, Tampa Bay patients of all ages and backgrounds have turned to St. Joseph's Hospitals for consistently outstanding care. Because the hospitals are nonprofit organizations, they rely on donors to sustain high quality care and the latest medical advances available.
Donors have truly made a difference in the lives of thousands of St. Joseph's patients. The Foundation plays an important role by serving as the bridge between these donors and the hospitals.
Voluntary financial support for the St. Joseph's Hospitals is especially meaningful in light of the roots and traditions of the organization. The hospitals were established in 1934 by the Franciscan Sisters of Allegany who came to Tampa to aid the victims of an outbreak of yellow fever.
The hospitals came into being because of the compassion of a few dedicated individuals responding to the health needs of a community. That tradition is still alive and most apparent to patients and their families and friends who experience St. Joseph's Hospitals.
We invite you to learn more about our hospitals and our Foundation. Your support of the Foundation's campaigns, programs and special events will be invaluable to advancing a great mission of four great hospitals.
