In conjunction with the Director, supervises the staff and assures compliance with all regulatory and accreditation requirements. Direct responsibiltiy for the testing within the department. Supported with respect to processing and client relationships by the facility managers. Work in conjuction with Pathologists to assure proper turnaround times and accurate reports. Assist the Facility Managers with duties associated with team resources, quality reporting, infectious disease reporting, education and marketing. Assists the managers in processing expense and billing information to the appropriate departments. Implements and maintains the appropriate databases for this informaton. Assists with budget and quality reports and performs other duties as assigned.
