35472 - A/R CLERK   Position: A/R CLERK FullTime/PartTime: Full Time Days: Mon - Fri Hours: 8am - 4:30pm Shift: First Hours Per Pay Period: 80.00     Qualifications: HS diploma or the equivalent; minimum of one year billing experience in long term or hospital setting; Knowledgable of Medicare, Medicaid HMO billing practices. Must be detail oriented, well organized and accurate. Able to work independently, meeting deadlines related to billing and month end close. Description: The Accounts Receivable clerk for the Med Center is responsible for the accurate billing of all patient charges into the appropriate system in a timely manner, consistent with established practices and requirments. Will work with members of the Admissions and Nursing department to ensure that billing is complete, providing customer service to residents and family members as needed. Will participate in month end close process for the Village, assisting the Controller and Financial Analyst with other duties as assigned.
