Lorraine Lutton is the Chief Operating Officer of St. Joseph's Hospital, the largest not-for-profit health care provider in Hillsborough County, and one of the four hospitals that comprise the St. Joseph's-Baptist Health Care system. St. Joseph-s is known for its advanced medical technology and surgery and its Centers of Excellence include the Cancer, Neuroscience and Heart institutes.
Lutton began working at St. Joseph's Hospital in 1992 and has served in a variety of roles. She most recently served as the Chief Operting Officer of St. Joseph's Women's Hospital, where she oversaw the development of the Breast Center, the expansion of the Fetal Surgery program and the construction of the new 50,000-square-foot, four-story Women-s Pavilion.
Lutton received her bachelor's degree in public health, health policy and administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her master's degree in business administration from the Anderson Graduate School of Management at UCLA.
Lutton is a Diplomate of the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has served on the Board of the Hillsborough County Healthy Start Coalition and was the President of the Board from 2003 to 2005.
