Steve Nierman is the Chief Operating Officer of South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City. South Florida Baptist Hospital is a full-service 147-bed community hospital, and is one of the four hospitals that comprise the St. Joseph's-Baptist Health Care system. 

Nierman received a BS in Engineering Math/Science from the United States Air Force Academy. Achieving the rank of Major, his military career included active duty time overseas and an assignment to the 6th Medical Support Squadron at MacDill AFB, Tampa while in the Air Force Reserve. He also earned a Master of Aeronautical Science at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and an MBA at Xavier University, Cincinnati, OH.
