A Total Approach
As part of our commitment to promoting cardiovascular health to everyone in our community, the Heart Institute holds regular forums and seminars on various heart care issues throughout the year. In addition, we sponsor free screening programs including testing for high blood pressure, heart risk appraisals and other screening tools.

We also provide regular programs for nurses and health care professionals to ensure that they remain on the leading edge of cardiovascular care. Patients and their loved ones have access to a range of support groups including:

• Cardiac Rehabilitation Support Group
• Pulmonary Rehab Support Group
• Family Education and Support Group for those with a hospitalized family member
