We want you to know that South Florida Baptist Hospital views pain management as an integral component in the care of the surgical patient. Your surgical team will work closely with you to develop a plan to ensure your comfort. It is your right and responsibility to let us know if you are having pain. 

Before your procedure you will be taught to use a pain-rating scale to report the intensity and type of pain you are experiencing. This will help your surgical team provide you with the best pain management possible and this will help in the healing process.
