- Separate waiting area for children and families
- Physicians board-certified in emergency medicine and pediatrics
- Fast track for minor emergencies
- Nurses and support staff specially trained in pediatric emergency care
- Advanced medical equipment designed for children of all sizes
- 18 pediatric beds
- Consultation services from nearly 60 pediatric specialty services through St. Joseph's Children's Hospital
- Child Life Specialists
State-Approved Pediatric Trauma Referral Center
Children who need the life-saving expertise and equipment of a trauma center will receive the best care available. A pediatric trauma room is fully equipped and ready to go at a moment's notice for serious emergencies.
Kid Express
Children with minor, non-trauma emergencies will be routed through our fast track area for quicker service. Kid Express, staffed with pediatric emergency specialists, is available from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
