The Parish Nurse Program at South Florida Baptist Hospital promotes wellness and improved health among members of local churches. Provided as a community service for people of all faiths, a parish nurse is a pastorally called, spiritually mature, licensed registered nurse volunteer with a desire to serve his/her
congregation.

Parish Nurses serve as integrators of faith and health, support group facilitators, personal health counselors, health educators, referral sources for community resources and volunteer coordinators.
