Varicose Veins Diagnosis and Treatments
03/19/2009
Join Thomas Kerr, M.D., Vascular Surgeon on Wednesday, April 15 at 6pm for a free lecture about varicose veins.

Varicose veins develop when the tiny one-way valves inside the veins, which help move blood back to the heart, fail to close properly. This causes blood to flow backwards in the veins. Left untreated, the condition can lead to serious conditions such as blood clots, leg ulcers, infection and skin breakdown.
